Circa Queer Histories Festival DD Dialogue & Dance Party

DD Dialogue & Dance Party was an grant-awarded event with a salon-style discussion featuring prominent LGBTQIA+ women, non-binary, and trans social entrepreneurs and artists who have created vital public spaces in Los Angeles. A 2 part panel discussion and dance party, all hosted at Hi Tops in Los Feliz, was among a month-long series of incredible artist programming and documented for the One Institute Archive (USC). Through dialogue and dance, Double D proposed a way to celebrate our community and highlight those who have been working at creating queer space, may that be through organizing parties, opening bars, making bi yearly community events, and creating space through perfomance and making.
