WHERE IS HERE, FADEINFADEOUT group show 2015. Site specific installation using safety flagging tape on fence. 

This site-responsive text embraces an awkward, aging fence as a symbol—architecturally and socially— of the complex issue of the urban re-development and identity “crisis” that is taking hold of Downtown Los Angeles, it’s buildings and it’s inhabitants. It is observing the immediate change at this site while looking ahead—how will the identity of this space read in a new downtown landscape? Where is Here points to the dysphoric experience of transience and displacement in this place, at this moment.
